PROBABLE TEXAS A&M STARTING ROTATION
- GAME 1: Jason Meyer - Junior - LHP
Jason Meyer will be making his third start of the season this weekend. His first start came in a Tuesday game against Lamar. He allowed one run on six hits in six-complete innings on the mound. He had his second straight good outing against Oklahoma State in the second game of the series. Meyer logged 6 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on five hits while striking out five and walking two. For the year, Meyer has appeared in 16 games, 14 out of the bullpen. In 30 2/3 innings on the mound, he has allowed 28 hits and has 27 strikeouts against only six walks. He also has a save this season. Meyer, a 2004 freshman all-American, has plenty of experience as a starter, starting 14 games in 2005 and 12 in 2004.
- GAME 2: Austin Creps - Junior - RHP
Austin Creps, a junior right-hander and Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Year, will start on Saturday for the third time this season after making his first Friday start of the year last weekend. Creps was the Sunday starter the first five weeks of the season. The Friday start proved to be Creps' worst outing of the season as he allowed seven runs on 10 hits in four-complete innings of work. Creps has pitched a total of 47 2/3 innings in his previous seven starts and has allowed just 37 hits on the season. He owns a record of 3-2, an ERA of 1.74 and is averaging 6.46 innings per start. Creps was the tough-luck loser in a game against Missouri State, allowing three runs in five innings of work in the 3-2 loss. He came back strong with a 7 1/3 inning performance against Florida where he allowed three hits, struck out five and did not walk a man. He also shouldered the loss against UTSA after throwing 7 2/3 innings and not allowing an earned run. Creps did not earn a decision against Missouri, as he left with a 4-1 lead and the Aggies lost 6-5 in extra innings. He threw 7 1/3 scoreless innings against Texas Tech, scattering five hits and striking out five. In his eight starts, the Aggie offense has scored 28 runs for an average of 3.5 runs per game.

SERIES INFORMATION
Oklahoma leads the all-time series against Texas A&M, 26-24. The series dates back to 1912 when the Aggies and Sooners split a pair of games.
Prior to the start of the Big 12 in 1997, Oklahoma defeated Texas A&M 10 out of 16 games but the two teams had not played since the 1985 season.
Since competition began in the Big 12, A&M holds a slight advantage over the Sooners, 18-16. In regular-season Big 12 games, A&M has a 14-13 series advantage.
In the Big 12 Tournament, A&M owns a 4-3 advantage over the Sooners. The Aggies have faced the Sooners more times in the Big 12 Tournament than they have faced any other school.
Oklahoma is one of few schools to have fared well at Olsen Field, winning seven of 12 games played there since the start of the Big 12. The Aggies have played well in Norman, winning 10 of 16 games played at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
Of the nine Big 12 series played between the two schools, A&M won six but has never swept Oklahoma. Oklahoma swept the Aggies at Olsen Field in 2000.
Last season, A&M won the opener, 7-5, behind a strong outing by Jason Meyer. Meyer tossed 7 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits. Clayton Turner, however, earned the win, allowing one run in the final two innings. Coby Mavroulis collected three hits, including a home run to pace the offensive attack.
OU rebounded to win the second and third games of the series, 2-0 and 3-2. Steven Guerra hurled a three-hit shutout in game two and A&M stranded eight runners in the finale.
