The Texas A&M men's golf team has climbed to No. 6 in Golfweek?â„¢s national rankings released on Tuesday.
A&M finished second to Texas Tech at the Aggie Invitational on Sunday, but defeated No. 2-ranked Oklahoma State and No. 12 Baylor. A&M was ranked No. 10 going into the tournament.
The Aggies' ranking is their highest in more than 20 years.
Oklahoma State remains No. 2 behind top-ranked Georgia. Other Big 12 teams in the rankings are Baylor at No. 12, Texas Tech at No. 14 and Texas at No. 23.
Four A&M players also moved higher in the individual rankings. Senior Andrew Parr is ranked 51st, sophomore Bobby Gates is 62nd, freshman Bronson Burgoon is 64th and senior Jerad Harklau is 77th.
