After entering today 11 shots out of the lead, No. 6-ranked Texas A&M has climbed to within four shots of the lead going into this afternoon's final round at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship at Tulsa's Southern Hills Country Club.

Martin Piller led the Aggies in the second round with an even-par 70, while Jerad Harklau had a 71 and Andrew Parr carded a 72.

Piller is in eighth place at +2 for the tournament and is just two shots behind the leaders. Robert Gates is tied for 10th at +4, Harklau is tied for 17th at +6, and Bronson Burgoon and Parr are tied for 26th at +8.

A&M's team score of 287 tied Texas for the lowest second round. The No. 23 Longhorns lead at +12, followed by Oklahoma (+14), A&M (+16), No. 14 Texas Tech (+21), No. 2 Oklahoma State (+27) and Nebraska (+27).

Texas' Jeff Bell (70-70=140) and Kansas' Gary Woodland (71-69=140) are the individual leaders.
