For the first time in history, all five Texas A&M starters are ranked among the top 100 college golfers in the country by Golfweek.
After finishing third at the Big 12 Championship in late April, the Aggies stayed at No. 6 in the team rankings. Four other Big 12 teams also are ranked in the top 25 -- No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 15 Baylor and No. 17 Texas.
Georgia is the top-ranked team and Oklahoma's State's Pablo Martin is the No. 1 individual.
Sophomore Robert Gates climbed to No. 55 in the individual rankings. Also in the top 100 are freshman Bronson Burgoon (63), senior Andrew Parr (65), sophomore Martin Piller (71) and senior Jerad Harklau (84).
The Aggies are expected to receive a bid to one of three NCAA regionals set for May 18-20. The top 10 teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship May 31-June 3 in Sunriver, Ore.
Regional bids will be announced on Monday.
