The Texas A&M softball team has earned the No. 4 seed in the 2006 Big 12 Softball Championship, which begin May 10 at Oklahoma City's ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
The Aggies (32-15, 11-6 Big 12) will open play in the championship on Thursday, May 11 at 11 a.m. (CDT). A&M will face No. 5-seeded and 21st-ranked Oklahoma.
A win will place the Aggies in a winners' bracket game later that day at 5 p.m. (CDT), while a loss will put Texas A&M in an elimination game at 2 p.m. (CDT).

The winner of the Big 12 Championship receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The field of 64 will be announced on Sunday, May 14.
