After one of the best seasons in school history, the Texas A&M men's golf team is ranked No. 6 nationally in Golfweek's final poll.

The top 10 finish ensures that the Aggies will be invited for the first time to the NCAA Preview tournament next fall.

The Aggies won two tournaments and posted eight top-five finishes. A&M finished third at the Big 12 Championship and the NCAA Central Regional, and placed 14th at the NCAA Championships.

A&M is one of just 11 schools in the country to qualify for the NCAA Men's Golf Championships in each of the last three seasons.

All five A&M starters were ranked among Golfweek's top 100 players. Senior Andrew Parr was 45th, freshman Bronson Burgoon was 52nd, sophomore Robert Gates was 59th, sophomore Martin Piller was 85th and senior Jerad Harklau was 91st.

The only other teams with five players in the top 100 were national champion Oklahoma State and No. 2-ranked Georgia.
