The Texas A&M football continued its 2006 fall camp with a single workout on Wednesday.

?We?™re in that ?'grinder?™ week of August camp,? Aggie head coach Dennis Franchione said. ?Everybody?™s body is a little sore and everybody?™s ?'ouchies? hurt a little more. You?™ve got ?'rehab corner?™ with a few more people in it, and that?™s not just our football team, that?™s about every one of them in America. We grinded through pretty well really. It took us a little motivation to get going, but we did.?

Franchione was asked about how the Aggie kickoff return unit was coming along.

?No final decisions right now, but if we had to return a kickoff today it would Kerry Franks and Pierre Brown,? Franchione said. ?(Mike) Goodson and Arkeith Brown are in the mix and two or three other guys. They?™re all working back there. Those two right now are the most confident and worked through the spring.?

Franchione also addressed the deep snapper job that was left vacant with the departure of the reliable Boone Stutz.

?Chris Smith has made pretty dramatic improvement over the summer,? Franchione said. ?Corey Gibas has been pretty good and (Steven) Blazek has good velocity and just needs to be more consistent. They all need to be more consistent. We can?™t have nine good snaps and one bad one.?
