"We're looking forward to our first trip of the new year, and the opportunity to play a team as talented and well coached as Ohio State, is an extra treat for our preseason," said A&M head coach G. Guerrieri. "Plus, when you add in the chance to play a game in an MLS soccer specific stadium of 20,000, it should make for a very special experience for our players."

The exhibition will serve as the Aggies' second preseason match. The first was an 8-0 shutout of Rice last Sunday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. In the match A&M posted one goal in the first 30-minute period, six in the second 45-minute period and one more in the final 30 minutes of play. Eight different Aggies contributed to the scoring attack.

The Buckeyes scored five goals, including three in the first half, against Wake Forest in exhibition action that ended in a tie Wednesday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

The Aggies return a scoring trio in senior Kat Krambeer and juniors Melissa Garey and Ashlee Pistorius who in 2005 combined for 48 of A&M's 72 goals. The 48 goals were more than nine teams in the Big 12 scored total.

Ohio State's leading scorer, Lisa Collison returns for her sophomore campaign. Last season Collison scored 13 goals while chipping in three assists. She clocked time in all 18 of the Buckeyes' matches, starting 17.

The last and only time these two teams met was in 1999. Then junior midfielder Alison Peters scored two goals to lead the comeback charge for A&M, as the Aggies defeated the Buckeyes 2-1.
