Five players scored in double figures to lead the Texas A&M women?â„¢s basketball team to a 102-48 rout of BBC Troistorrents Friday night.

With the 54-point victory over foreign competition, the Aggies improved to 3-0 on their five-game European Tour through France, Switzerland and Monaco.

Junior Morenike Atunrase led all scorers with a game-high 19 points and seven rebounds. She went 8-for-13 from the floor and had five steals, seven deflections and one blocked shot for the game.

?Morenike was making so many things happen, particularly in the first half where she was getting her hands on every ball deflected,? Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair said. ?She only played half of the game, but still ended up with 19 points. She is playing to the level that she?â„¢s capable of and we are having other players step up to her level during each of our ballgames overseas.?

The Aggie defense held BBC Troistorrents to only six points in the second quarter and stole the ball 26 times in the contest.

Junior Patrice Reado turned in her second double-digit performance overseas with 18 points, while junior LaToya Gulley added 11. Junior Katy Pounds came off the bench to contribute nine points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one blocked shot in the winning cause.

Blair was particularly happy with his post players and the team?â„¢s overall chemistry on the floor. Both Lenka Zimova (5-of-7) and La Toya Micheaux (4-of-6) contributed 18 combined points in the paint for A&M.

?We adjusted and had some good transition baskets,? he said. ?We shared the basketball in transition and the kids had a lot of fun tonight. We have two more games to go and I want us to be able to finish like we started. We are starting to play together more as a team and are running our offense better.?

In all, the Aggies hit 53.5 percent of their shots from the floor (84-45) and 76.9 percent of their makes from the charity stripe (10-13) against a young and undersized BBC Troistorrents squad.

Up next, A&M will take on Martigny tomorrow night in Martigny, Switzerland, before closing out its 10-day European Tour against Roquebrune on Aug. 22 in Nice, France.
