The Texas A&M football had a single workout in shorts and shells on Thursday as the Aggies continued preparations for the Sept. 2 season-opener against The Citadel.
Next up for the Aggies is the annual ?Mock Game? on Friday at 6 p.m. at Kyle Field. During the Mock Game, the Aggies will go over many of the scenarios they might encounter on game day.
The honors continue to roll in for senior linebacker Justin Warren, who was selected to the Butkus Award ?watch list.? The Butkus Award, named for NFL Hall of Famer Dick Butkus, is annually given to the nation?â„¢s top college linebacker. Warren, who led the Big 12 in tackles last fall, is also on the watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards.
