The Texas A&M soccer team is ranked in the top seven nationally with the release of the national polls earlier this week.

The Aggies (3-2-1) sit at No. 6 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and Soccer Times polls, and at No. 7 in the current editions of Soccer Buzz and Soccer America.

Notre Dame, Florida State, Santa Clara, UCLA and North Carolina are the consensus top five teams in all four polls. Four of the six teams A&M has already played this year are ranked in the top 10, with three (UCLA, Santa Clara and North Carolina) in the top five.

The Aggies conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule this weekend with a pair of matches at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. A&M hosts No. 25 Cal State Fullerton, an NCAA Sweet 16 team in 2005, on Friday at 7 p.m. Sam Houston State comes to College Station on Sunday, with kickoff also scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets for both contests, and all A&M home matches, are available online at aggieathletics.com or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AGGIE.
