Soccer Continues Big 12 Action in Lubbock

The 12th-ranked and defending Big 12 Champion Texas A&M soccer team (5-3-1, 1-0-0) will travel to Lubbock to face the Red Raiders (4-5-0, 0-1-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at R.P. Fuller Stadium.

The Aggies are coming off a 1-0 victory over the Baylor Lady Bears on a windy Friday night in Waco. Senior forward Suzzette Devloo recorded the game-winner for A&M, her second goal of the season, off a cross from sophomore defender Micah Stephens.

The win also pushed the Aggies?â„¢ Big 12 unbeaten streak to 10 games, dating back to October of 2005. A&M is now 10-1-0 in conference openers.

Texas Tech opened Big 12 play at home with a 2-0 loss to Texas on Friday. Longhorn midfielder Carrie Schmit scored both of the goals in the second half against the Red Raiders.

Last year in College Station, the Aggies saw seven of its goals scored by six different players in route to the 7-0 shutout victory. A&M leads the all-time series against Texas Tech, 11-1.
