Texas A&M senior forward Suzzette Devloo continued her goal scoring tear through the Big 12 Conference as she netted two of the Aggies?â„¢ three goals en route to the 3-0 shutout of No. 14 Colorado in front of 1,315 fans Friday at Prentup Field in Boulder.

The two goals were Devloo?â„¢s sixth and seventh in the past five games, earning her State Farm Player of the Game honors, while the win improved the 8th-ranked Aggies?â„¢ winning streak to six games and their overall record to 9-3-1, 5-0-0 in the Big 12; while the loss dropped the Buffaloes to 7-3-2, 1-2-1 in conference play.

A&M?â„¢s first goal of the game came when sophomore defender Micah Stephens dribbled down the right flank and sent a beautiful 35 yard diagonal ball into the Buffaloe goal mouth, where CU goalkeeper Kirstin Radlinski had trouble collecting the ball, letting the ball slip through her fingers and allowing Devloo to slip in behind her and tap in her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

A&M went up 2-0 in the game?â„¢s 20th minute when Ashlee Pistorius, Amy Berend and Amber Gnatzig combined on a quick combination off of an A&M corner kick to set-up Kat Krambeer right inside the penalty area for her second goal this year.

The Aggies went into halftime comfortably up 2-0.

One minute into the second half freshman defender Nicole Ketchum connected with Devloo inside the Buffaloes?â„¢ penalty area for the Aggies?â„¢ insurance goal. A&M went on to control the tempo of the remainder of the match, keeping the Buffaloes talented attacking players from having any serious chances at goal.

?This was another nice, business-like effort from our players,? said A&M coach G Guerrieri. ?Colorado is a very talented team. So, for our mid-field and defense to be able to keep them in check, on their home-field, at their high altitude, I think that our players have a lot to be proud of.?

The Aggies will travel to Kansas to face the Jayhawks Sunday at 1 p.m. in Lawrence. Live audio and stats of the match will be available on AggieAthletics.com.
