A&M (8-7, 1-6 Big 12) is looking to break a losing skid, which reached three matches following a 3-0 loss to No. 1 Nebraska Saturday in College Station. The three-match streak equals the Aggies' longest losing streak of the season.

Baylor (13-6, 2-5 Big 12) is in the midst of its longest losing streak of the season, a streak that reached four matches following a heartbreaking 3-2 loss at No. 11 Texas on Friday. It was the Bears' fourth consecutive match against a Top 25 opponent.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES

A&M holds a commanding 52-8 lead in the all-time series since 1976, including a 16-4 mark in Big 12 matches only. Baylor, however, snapped an 11-match losing streak against the Aggies last year with a 30-27, 30-24, 26-30, 30-26 victory over A&M on Oct. 19 in College Station. It marked the Bears' first Big 12 victory at G. Rollie White, as well as Baylor's first overall victory in College Station since Nov. 11, 1992, a span of 12 matches.

A&M avenged the loss in the second meeting of the season and extended its winning streak in Waco to six matches with a 30-25, 23-30, 30-23, 30-19 victory at the Ferrell Center on Nov. 2.

A&M is 20-4 all-time against the Bears in matches played in Waco. Baylor's most recent home victory over A&M was a 3-2 upset against the 14th-ranked Aggies at the Ferrell Center on Oct. 6, 1999.

RECENT RESULTS

Nebraska lived up to its No. 1 ranking and remained undefeated after holding off a young but feisty Texas A&M team, 30-25, 30-24, 30-20, in front of 2,118 at G. Rollie White Coliseum on Saturday.

The score was tied for the 13th time at 20 in the first game when the Huskers (15-0, 7-0 Big 12) capitalized on A&M mistakes to score four consecutive points. A&M answered with three straight points to pull within 24-23 before Nebraska began to pull away for the 30-25 victory.

Nebraska's Sarah Pavan posted 10 of her match-high 17 kills in the game while hitting .529.

There were 10 lead changes and 19 ties in the second game. The Aggies used a four-point run to build their biggest lead of the match at 19-16. Nebraska called a timeout and then outscored the Aggies, 6-1, to regain the lead. A&M tied the score at 22 and 23 before the Huskers, who outhit A&M, .438 to .290 in the frame, used a 7-1 run to close out the game.

Back-to back kills by freshman Sarah Ammerman and junior Kelly Stanton gave A&M its third and final lead of the third game at 11-10. Nebraska responded with a 4-1 run to retake the lead for good. A kill by freshman Mary Batis kept A&M within 18-16 before the more experienced Huskers began to pull away once again. Nebraska outscored the Aggies 12-4 to end the match.
