After helping the 5th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team clinch its third consecutive Big 12 regular season championship by scoring four goals on the weekend, junior forward Ashlee Pistorius was named the Big 12?â„¢s Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season.

?It?â„¢s great to see Ashlee?â„¢s efforts over the weekend recognized in this manner,? commented A&M head coach G Guerrieri. ?Her ability to score goals and bring her teammates into the attack makes our entire team more dangerous.?

Pistorius registered her fourth career hat trick on Friday night against Iowa State. She scored three of the Aggies?â„¢ seven goals. Pistorius netted her fourth goal of the weekend in the 4-2 win over Missouri on Sunday to help the Aggies remain undefeated in conference play. Her eight-point weekend moves Pistorius to the team point leader with 20 and fourth all-time in Aggie career leaders for goals scored with 49. She is also third for game-winning goals (17) with her senior season remaining.

This marks the sixth time in Pistorius?â„¢ career that she?â„¢s been honored as a Big 12 Player of the Week.
