Texas A&M junior forward Ashlee Pistorius has been named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week, editors of the magazine announced today.
Over the weekend, Pistorius helped lead the 5th-ranked Aggie soccer team to two wins and its third consecutive Big 12 regular season championship. She registered her fourth career hat trick Friday night against Iowa State, as she netted three of A&M?â„¢s seven goals. Pistorius?â„¢ fourth goal of the weekend, eighth of the season, came in the 4-2 victory over Missouri on Sunday.
Her eight-point weekend moves Pistorius to the team point leader with 20 and fourth all-time in Aggie career leaders for goals scored with 49. She is also third for game-winning goals (17) with her senior season still remaining.
This was Pistorius?â„¢ third career Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week honor.
