The Texas A&M men?â„¢s swimming and diving team will be looking for an upset against No. 17 Notre Dame at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Student Recreation Natatorium in front of an Alumni Weekend crowd.

More than 60 former A&M swimmers and divers will be in attendance as the Aggies attempt to move their season record to 2-0 in dual meets. The Aggies opened their dual meet schedule with a tight 151-147 win over conference foe Missouri on Oct. 14.

The Aggies were paced to victory over the Tigers by freshman swimmer Israel Duran and junior diver Eric Sehn, who were named the Big 12 Swimmer and Diver of the Week for their efforts.

Duran, from Tijuana, Mexico, won four races against Missouri, including three individual victories. Duran swam to victory in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly and the 200 backstroke, and swam the fly leg on the 200 medley relay.

Sehn, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, also played a huge role in the Aggies?â„¢ dual meet win over the Tigers by sweeping the 1- and 3-meter springboard dives. Sehn scored 274.50 on the 1-meter and 264.90 on the 3-meter on his way to victory.

It will be the second straight year for the Aggies and Irish to face off in the pool. Last year, Notre Dame tallied a narrow 132-111 victory over the Aggies in South Bend, Ind. Notching victories against the Irish were Eric Sehn in the 1- and 3-meter springboards, Andrew Sullivant in the 50 free, Ryan Kemp in the 100 free and both freestyle relays.

For the first time in the history of the A&M swimming & diving program, the entire meet will have live video streaming over the internet. Fans can access the free video feed through the new CSTV Aggies All-Access. Live updates of the races are scheduled to be available as well at AggieAthletics.com.
