The 7th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team (14-4-1), the No. 1 seed in the 2006 Big 12 Championship, will face the No. 5 seed Colorado Buffaloes (12-5-2) in the first semifinal match on Friday. Kickoff is slated for 5:30 p.m. at the Blossom Soccer Stadium.

Big 12 Conference Championship Final

Live video of the match will be available free of charge on the new Aggies All-Access beginning at 5:15 p.m. Those inside Blossom Soccer Stadium can listen to the broadcast on 89.5 FM.

The Aggies advance to the semifinal after posting their 10th shutout of the season with a 3-0 victory over Baylor on Wednesday. Junior Ashlee Pistorius, freshman Cydne Currie and senior Kat Krambeer each netted a goal while Paige Carmichael, Laura Grace Robinson and Linda Pierson each chipped in an assist.

No. 23 Colorado moves on to face the Aggies in Friday's semifinal after downing Kansas on Wednesday in penalty kicks. The match was tied one-all after regulation and two overtime periods.

In regular season play, A&M beat CU, 3-0, in Boulder, as senior forward Suzzette Devloo scored two of the Aggies' goals with Krambeer putting away the third. The two teams have played against each other four times in the Big 12 Championship with the Aggies coming out on top all four matches.

No. 2 seed Oklahoma State and No. 3 seed Texas will play in the second semifinal match scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The winners of the two games will meet in the Big 12 Championship match set for Sunday at 1 p.m. FOX Sports Net will televise Sunday's championship match on a tape-delay basis. Tickets for the Friday's match can be purchased through Ticketmaster statewide in Texas or through the San Antonio Sports Foundation web site (sanantoniosports.org). Prices are $6 per session, $12 for a three-day pass or $99 for a Team Pack of 20 tickets.
