Head men's basketball coach Billy Gillispie and head women's basketball coach Gary Blair met with members of the press on Monday at the weekly Texas A&M basketball media luncheon held at Outback Steakhouse.
Blair and the women are preparing to host Mercer on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Gillispie and the men will host the Shelby Metcalf Classic this weekend at Reed Arena. The tournament features two games each day and will pit A&M against Louisiana Tech, Lamar and Saint Louis.
