All-American diver Eric Sehn completed a clean sweep of this weekend?â„¢s diving events when he won the platform event on the third and final day of the inaugural Art Adamson Invitational on Sunday at the TAMU Student Rec Natatorium.

The Aggie men, in third place after Saturday, made a strong Sunday push to finish second with 1,004 points. LSU won the meet with 1,039 points, followed by the Aggies (1,004), SMU (1,001), and Pacific (686).

Sehn set his second school record in two days with a score of 414.35 on the platform. Sehn also swept the three diving events in each of the last two Big 12 Championship meets.

?It was a good weekend. I did a lot of things right,? said Sehn. ?It?â„¢s good preparation to know where I am midseason, to know my strengths and weaknesses. I?â„¢m pretty stoked about today. Breaking 400 is really good.?

The Aggie men?â„¢s swim team knew they had depth coming into the meet and eventually depth is what kept them in it. They finished third in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Aggie men also placed four swimmers in the ?A? heat of the 100-yard freestyle and another three swimmers in the ?A? heat of the 1650-yard freestyle.

?We?â„¢re just getting better every meet,? Aggie head swimming coach Jay Holmes said. ?We?â„¢re looking to improve and we?â„¢ve got a lot of work to do. Our mission is to work hard to get prepared for our conference championship meet. Everything we do is geared toward that.?

The Texas A&M men?â„¢s swimming and diving team will next be in action Saturday, December 2 in Lexington, Kentucky to face the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
