The 8th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. to face the top-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels in an NCAA Quarterfinal match on Saturday. Gametime is scheduled for 12 p.m. (CST) at Fetzer Field.

The Aggies enter the match with a 17- 5-1 record and are looking for their first ever trip to the Women's College Cup. No. 1 UNC has won 24 straight matches since dropping its season opener 2-1 in double overtime to the Aggies on Aug. 25 in College Station.
Fans unable to attend Saturday's NCAA quarterfinal soccer match between Texas A&M and North Carolina in Chapel Hill will be able to watch the match live and free of charge on the new CSTV Aggies All-Access. The broadcast will begin at 11:40 a.m. (CST) with the pregame show.
The two teams have met eight times with UNC holding a 7-1-0 advantage. This will be the third time that A&M has reached the NCAA Quarterfinals in the past six years. The Aggies faced Portland in 2001 and North Carolina in 2002. UNC will play in its 24th NCAA Tournament quarterfinal in 25 years.
Junior forward Ashlee Pistorius leads the Aggies in goals scored with 15 while chipping in five assists, four of the goals coming in the first three rounds of NCAA Tournament play. Junior forward Elisabeth Jones has recorded a goal and three assists in the first three rounds of NCAA play, she has three goals and five assists for the season.
Sophomore midfielder, Yael Averbuch has tallied 16 goals and five assists for the Tar Heels thus far. Freshman midfielder Whitney Engen has logged 11 goals and 12 assists for UNC.
The winner of Saturday's match will face the winner of the UCLA/Portland game in one of two semifinal matches in the 2006 Women's College Cup being held in Cary, N.C. Dec. 1 and 3.
