Christi Hahn of Texas A&M has been named to the 12-member All-Big 12 first team, the conference office announced today.

Hahn, a senior middle blocker, ranks second in the Big 12 with a .373 hitting percentage for the full season, the third highest season hitting percentage in A&M history. The Leander, Texas, product hit .342 in Big 12 matches only ?- fourth best in the conference ?- as A&M tied for eight in the league with a 5-15 mark and went 12-16 overall.

Hahn, a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, posted double figures in kills in 20 matches, including thee 20-plus kill performances, this season. She also led the Aggies with 4.13 points per game and ranked second on the team with 3.35 kills per game for the full season.

Hahn completed her stellar career with a .333 hitting percentage, ranking second in the A&M career records.

The all-Big 12 honor is one of many accolades Hahn has received this season. After being named to the preseason All-Big 12 team prior to the start of the season, Hahn went on to be named to the all-tournament team in every tournament A&M participated in this season, including MVP honors at the Colorado State Hilton Classic. Hahn, who sports a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average while majoring in kinesiology/exercise science, also received academic honors, including ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team and Academic all-Big 12 Volleyball First Team laurels.
