The Texas A&M women?â„¢s swimming & diving team continues to be ranked No. 5 nationally, according to the latest College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) dual meet poll released on Thursday.
This marks the second straight time that A&M has come in at the No. 5 slot, which is a school record. Prior to this season, A&M?â„¢s highest ranking was a tie for eighth during the 2004-05 campaign.
The Aggies lie just two points behind PAC-10 power California in the latest edition of the dual meet poll. A&M picked up five points in the most recent poll on the Golden Bears, who opened the season ranked No. 1.
Stanford ranks No. 1 in the nation with a perfect 270 points. Arizona is second with 254 points, four ahead of Auburn, while Cal has 243 points and the Aggies have 241.
A&M will close its fall season with a dual meet against Rice at the Student Rec Center Natatorium on Saturday at noon. Admission is free.
