The 8th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team will face the Lady Tigers of Grambling State in first round action of the 2006 NCAA Tournament. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

Free live video of all matches this weekend will be available to fans on AggieAthletics.com through the new CSTV Aggies All-Access. Fans attending the A&M match on Friday can listen to the broadcast inside the Aggie Soccer Stadium on 89.9 FM.
The Aggies enter the match at 14-5-1 having won their third consecutive Big 12 regular season championship, fifth overall. A&M earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament after a 10-game winning streak and a 9-1-0 run through league play. This weekend marks the 12th consecutive season that the Aggies have hosted the opening rounds of tournament play. A&M holds a 9-2-0 first round record.
Grambling earned an automatic bid into the 64-team bracket after bringing home the 2006 SWAC Tournament trophy with a 2-1 overtime victory over Alabama A&M. The 2006 season marks the first season Tamura Crawley has been the head coach of the Lady Tiger soccer team and also marks the first ever appearance for Grambling in the NCAA Tournament.
Friday's match will serve as the first meeting between the two programs.
Fans wanting to purchase tickets can call 1-888-99-AGGIE or 845-2311 or come in person to the ticket windows located in the Zone at Kyle Field. The ticket gate at the Aggie Soccer Stadium will open one hour prior to the match.
The first 1,000 Texas A&M students, who show a valid A&M student ID will get into the match for free courtesy of David Gardner's Jewelers, a member of the event planning committee.
Public parking for fans is available in lots designated 100i or 100j. The Reed Arena parking area will be pay-to-park on Friday due to both the men and women's basketball home games.
SMU and McNeese State will play the earlier first round match at 3:30 p.m. The winners of Friday's games will meet on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with a shot at the round of 16 on the line.
