The fifth-ranked Texas A&M women?â„¢s swimming team will spend the remainder of the holiday break holding two-a-day workouts in Miami, Fla.

Earlier this month the Aggies trained through finals, heading home for their short Christmas break on Dec. 19 and returned this past Thursday, Dec. 28.

?This is the time of the year when we put in some of our hardest training because there is no school involved," A&M head coach Steve Bultman said. "It's a chance to go somewhere, put in good hard work and have a little fun at the same time. This great for team building and a good time for them to bond and at the same time get some of our best work in. This training will set the stage for how we do later on in the year. We are very fortunate to have the resources and support from our athletic department to be able to do this."

Texas A&M sophomore All-American Kristen Heiss (Casper, Wyo.) will post an online diary throughout the trip at www.aggieathletics.com.

Towards the end of the Miami training regimen, A&M will look to extend its perfect dual meet record to 6-0 when it takes on the University of Miami on Jan. 5. A&M hasn't competed since a 151-101 win over Rice on Dec. 2.
