
Five Aggies Named to PING All-South Central Region Team

All five starters for the sixth-ranked Texas A&M men's golf team have been named to the PING All-South Central Region squad released on Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The honored Aggies are freshman Bronson Burgoon, sophomores Robert Gates and Martin Piller, and seniors Andrew Parr and Jerad Harklau.
Other members of the All-South Central Region team are Ryan Baca (Baylor), Oliver Bekker (Lamar), Dawie Van Der Walt (Lamar), Casey Clendenon (Lamar), Matt Bortis (Arkansas), Jeff Bell (Texas), Matthew Mills (Texas), Oscar Floren (Texas Tech), Andrew Dresser (Texas Tech), and Colt Knost (SMU).
Each of the nine PING All-Region teams are comprised of 15 golfers and any additional player ranked in the top 75 nationally in either the Golfstat or Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Members of the PING All-Region teams are eligible for PING All-America honors.
The Aggies are competing this week at the NCAA Championships in Sunriver, Ore.
