The men's basketball game between Texas A&M and Oklahoma State scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20 at Reed Arena is officially sold out, Texas A&M officials announced today. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN Regional.

"Other than the 4,200 tickets we hold for our students, we are pleased to announce the men's basketball game against Oklahoma State is sold out," Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne said. "This is the earliest sellout in our basketball history and is a testament to Coach Gillispie and the players for the way they play the game. Our fans have done a great job of supporting our teams."

Students with an all-sports pass can begin pulling tickets at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the ticket windows at Kyle Field. Each student is limited to four tickets. There are no guest tickets, so each ticket must have an all-sports pass.

Official capacity at Reed Arena is 12,500. The arena attendance record is 13,176 that squeezed in the building to witness a thrilling 46-43 win against Texas last spring (Mar. 1, 2006). In fact, the top five single-game attendance figures have been set during Coach Gillispie's tenure (see below).

With Coach Gillispie as the head coach of the Aggies, A&M has fashioned a 45-5 overall home record and has won 17 straight home games, the 10th longest home court winning streak in the nation.

The Aggies are currently ranked 8th in the country with a 14-2 overall record and 2-0 in Big 12 play. A&M faces Colorado on Saturday, Jan. 13 before returning home the following Saturday against OSU.

Fans are also encouraged to contact the ticket office at 1-888-99-AGGIE (888-992-4443) regarding Texas A&M's allotment for the Big 12 Championships to be held in Oklahoma City in March. Tickets in the A&M section are selling at a fast pace.
