The No. 17-ranked Texas A&M women?â„¢s basketball team will appear on national television a school-record six times during the 2006-07 season as the Big 12 Conference and Fox Sports Net have announced the confirmation of two women?â„¢s basketball wildcard broadcast windows in February.
The Aggies will face rival Texas in the second of two State Farm Lone Star Showdowns between the two schools on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. (CT) in College Station, followed by Baylor at Oklahoma at 8 p.m. (CT) in Norman, Okla.
A&M?â„¢s national television package this season includes FSN games against Big 12 South foes such as Baylor on Jan. 13, Texas on Jan. 21 and Oklahoma twice on Jan. 27 and Feb. 10. The Aggies will also make their first regular season and second all-time appearance on ESPN2, with an end-of-the-year Battle of the Brazos matchup at Baylor on Feb. 25.
During the 2006-07 season, all 12 conference teams are scheduled for 27 appearances on FSN as part of the Big 12?â„¢s women?â„¢s basketball television package with the network.
