The Texas A&M men's basketball team is ranked No. 6 in today's Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today coaches polls, matching the highest national ranking in school history.
The Aggies also were ranked No. 6 in both polls on Dec. 4.
Prior to this season, A&M's highest ranking in either poll came in 1959-60, when the Aggies were No. 8 in the AP poll.
A&M puts its nine-game winning streak on the line when it plays Texas Tech at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in Lubbock.
