Texas A&M junior Eric Sehn received his fourth Big 12 Diver of the Week honor of the 2006-07 season and seventh of his career, the Big 12 Conference announced this week.
Sehn (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) took the honor after sweeping the diving events against No. 24 LSU and participating in the Canadian World Championships Trials and Winter Nationals earlier this month.
Sehn keyed the Aggies?™ upset of LSU with wins in the 1- and 3-meter springboards with scores of 338.32 and 360.97, respectively. At the Canadian Winter Nationals in Quebec, Sehn placed second in the 1m with a score of 349.10, sixth in the 10-meter platform and seventh in the 3m.
Sehn?™s seven Diver of the Week honors are a school record and rank No. 2 in Big 12 history behind the eight earned by Texas?™ Troy Dumais from 1998-2002.
