Texas A&M senior Acie Law has been selected as Phillips 66 Big 12 Men?â„¢s Basketball Player of the Week in voting by a panel of media covering the conference.

Law wins the award after leading Texas A&M to two victories, including a 69-66 win at No. 6 Kansas. The senior guard had a game-high 23 points versus the Jayhawks, including 10 of the Aggies?â„¢ final 13 points in the last 3:30 of the game.

He made 9-of-18 (.500) field goals against KU, with seven assists and two steals. Earlier in the week, he helped the Aggies to a 73-49 tally over Iowa State by scoring 13 points with seven assists. Law averaged 18.0 points and 7.0 assists in the two games, while shooting 44.8 percent (13-of-29) from the floor and 88.9 percent (8-of-9) from the free throw line.

This marks the second time Law has received the honor in his career. He also was named player of the week last season after making the game-winning three-pointer against Texas. Law is the second A&M player to receive this honor this season, joining Josh Carter, who earned the award on Jan. 2.
