The 4th-ranked Texas A&M softball team will look to improve on its 13-2 record when it travels to Huntsville Wednesday to take on the Bearkats of Sam Houston State. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. at the Bearkat Softball Complex.

The Aggies posted a 3-2 week, run-ruling Stephen F. Austin in a doubleheader at the Aggie Softball Complex before going 1-2 in Tucson against the fourth-ranked Arizona Wildcats.
Freshman shortstop Macie Morrow went on a tear at the plate this past week, going 10-for-16 for a .625 batting average, with three doubles, two walks, three RBI and three stolen bases. She started all five games played against SFA and No. 4 Arizona. Morrow drove in two runs in game two of the doubleheader against SFA, as she was a perfect 4-for-4 and her third RBI came in the final game against Arizona where she was 3-for-4.
The Sam Houston softball team is 5-5 after posting a 3-1 weekend in the Domino?â„¢s Pizza Classic held at the Bearkat Softball Complex. Sam posted a win against Louisiana-Monroe and two against Texas Southern.
Bearkat senior outfielder Stephanie Mosley is hitting .441 after 10 games played. She has four runs scored, posted three RBI and leads the team in total bases.
A&M and SHSU have faced-off 85 times, with the Aggies winning 72 of the games.
