The Texas A&M equestrian team will look to extend its six-competition win streak this weekend on the road against Oklahoma State and Kansas State.

The Aggies (8-1) have but a single blemish on their record this season. They will get the opportunity to right that wrong on Saturday in Stillwater at 9 a.m. A&M dropped a tiebreaker after riding to a 16-16 tie against Oklahoma State on Nov. 5 in College Station. The Aggies have posted sizeable victories in each of their five spring competitions in 2007.

The Cowgirls (6-4) enter Saturday?â„¢s competition on a two-match losing streak. OSU fell 13-7 at national champion Auburn on Feb. 4 after losing to 2005 national champion South Carolina 12-8 a day earlier. OSU has a perfect 4-0 record at home but is 2-4 on the road with both wins going down to the final ride, including the one over the Aggies. Oklahoma State has dropped competitions at Baylor and Kansas State this season as well.

A&M defeated Kansas State (3-6), 14-8, just four days ago in College Station, meaning the Wildcats will get an extraordinarily quick rematch. A&M will face off against KSU in Manhattan on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Aggie western squad is a perfect 8-0 this season and has posted dominant 10-0 and 9-2 results over its Big 12 rivals this spring. The western women are also 2-0 in tiebreakers (SFA, New Mexico St.) this season as well.

The hunter seat team enters the weekend with a 6-3 mark and has won three of its last four competitions. The hunter riders were very strong in recent matches against New Mexico State (9-1) and TCU (8-0).
