Texas A&M Head Coach Billy Gillispie and the NCAA South Region 3-seed Texas A&M basketball team held an open shootaround Wednesday afternoon at the Alamodome. Afterwards, Gillispie and selected players Acie Law IV, Joseph Jones, Antanas Kavaliauskas and Marlon Pompey met with members of the media in a pre-tournament press conference. Texas A&M will play 2-seed Memphis Thursday at 6:27 p.m. CDT in the Alamodome, with the winner facing the winner of Thursday's second game between 1-seed Ohio State and 5-seed Tennessee. That championship game will be Saturday at a time to be determined. The winner of the South Regional will advance to the Final Four in Atlanta next weekend.
