Texas A&M senior Francisco Picasso turned in his team?™s fastest split for Uruguay?™s 400-meter freestyle relay that finished 17th of 29th countries at the 2007 FINA World Championships on Sunday at the Rod Laver Arena.

Picasso, a member of the Aggies?™ 2006 400-yard freestyle relay, led the way with a 50.27 split as Uruguay raced to a time of 3:22.13.

In other action, former A&M All-American Matt Rose helped Canada to a seventh-place finish in the Championship final of the 400 free relay. Canada turned in a time of 3:16.91 in the 400 free relay with Rose providing a 49.42 split on the second leg.
