The Aggies improved to 25-6 overall and to 5-4 in Big 12 Conference play with a series win over Nebraska at Olsen Field this past weekend. A&M won the series decider, 8-7, courtesy of a Luke Anders RBI single in the bottom of the ninth.

In the polls released early Monday, the Aggies moved from No. 14 to No. 13 in the Baseball America Top 30 and climbed two spots to No. 16 in Baseball America's Top 25.

Texas State enters the game with a record of 21-9 and is currently in second place in the Southland Conference Western Division race with an 8-1 mark. Texas State has won eight of its last 10 games.

Junior right-hander Kiel Renfro will get the start on the mound for the Aggies. Renfro has appeared in 11 games, but Tuesday's game will be his first start. He is 2-0 with a 3.44 Era and has 12 strikeouts in 18 1/3 innings.

The Bobcats will counter with one of two righties - Kyle Gembler (3-3, 5.19) or B.J. Boenning (0-2, 7.53 ERA).

The game will broadcast live on AM 1620 WTAW. Airtime is 5:45 p.m.
