The 13th-ranked Texas A&M baseball team will travel to Lubbock this week for a three-game Big 12 series against Texas Tech. The series will be played Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and then a Friday doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Dan Law Field.
A&M ran its overall record to 26-6 with a convincing 9-4 over Texas State Tuesday night at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. The Aggies moved to 5-4 in Big 12 play last weekend, winning two of three games over Nebraska at Olsen Field.
Texas Tech did not play a midweek game and dropped to 20-12 overall and to 4-5 in Big 12 action after losing two of three at Kansas State last weekend.
A&M leads the all-time series against Texas Tech, 84-49. The A&M and TTU series dates back to 1929. Since the formation of the Big 12 Conference in 1997, the series is tied, 17-17.
The Aggies are 11-4 against the Red Raiders at Olsen Field, but have a record of 4-10 in Lubbock.

All Texas A&M baseball games will be broadcast live on WTAW AM-1620. Dave South, The Voice of the Aggies, will call the action and will be assisted throughout the season by Tom Turbiville, Chuck Glenewinkel, Scott Clendenin, and Gabe Bock. The pre-game show will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of each game.
