Texas A&M soccer player Paige Carmichael was named a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American in recognition of her achievement in the development of improved athletic performance through total conditioning.

?Paige is one of the most intense and determined athletes that I have ever had the pleasure to work with,? A&M strength and conditioning coach Paul Sealey said. ?Her work ethic is one of the main reasons she was elected a team captain as a junior, she is always looking to do something extra to make herself and team better.?

Carmichael finished her junior campaign playing in all 24 of the Aggies?â„¢ matches. The Aggies?â„¢ co-captain scored one goal and chipped in six assists. Last week, at the team?â„¢s annual banquet, Carmichael was honored as the Iron Aggie for her achievement in the weight room and with the team?â„¢s Perseverance Award for her ?never say die? attitude, overcoming all obstacles.
