"I am very pleased with the way our team played this past weekend at Kansas," A&M head coach Jo Evans said. "We continue to get great pitching from Amanda Scarborough and Megan Gibson and our offense really stepped up this weekend. We need to continue to keep our focus and stay hot at the plate. Oklahoma State played Baylor really tough this past weekend, so we will have to play well to beat them."

Oklahoma State carries an even 24-24 overall and 2-7 conference record into Wednesday's games. The Cowgirls suffered two losses against No. 9 Baylor last weekend in Waco, Texas. OSU dropped a tough 3-4 decision to the Bears in Saturday's game before falling 3-11 on Sunday. Senior catcher Courtney Totte leads the hitting attack for the Cowgirls with a .428 batting average. Totte has collected 59 hits and blasted 11 home runs while knocking in 62 RBIs in 138 at bats.

The Aggies hold a 34-6 overall, 7-3 Big 12 record. A&M posted three shutout wins last week against A&M- Corpus Christi (9-0) and Kansas (7-0, 13-0). Scarborough only allowed two hits, no runs and no walks in nine innings of work in the circle last week. She held opposing batters to a .067 average. Scarborough owns a 1.07 ERA.

After posting a .714 batting average last week, Alex Reynolds was named Big 12 Player of the Week. Reynolds hit her first career home run and was 5-for-7 at the plate with four RBIs in A&M's three wins.

Last season, A&M handed OSU two losses in Stillwater, Okla. The Aggies beat the Cowgirls 6-3 and 16-8 to give A&M a 32-19 all-time series lead.

Wednesday will be Aggie Ring Day at the Aggie Softball Complex. All fans wearing an Aggie Ring will get in free. The first game will also serve as the last chance to sign up to win an Aggie Ring. The drawing will be held during second game. Wednesday is also Fish Camp Night. The Fish Camp that brings the most people and has the most spirit will win a team picture and the chance to play a game on the field. Students, in Fish Camp, who do not have a sports pass can get into the game for $2.
