After winning the series opener against Oklahoma State this past weekend, the 16th-ranked Aggies lost the final two games of the series in the ninth inning to drop to 32-10 overall and 9-8 in Big 12 Conference play. The Aggies remain only one of four teams with a winning record in Big 12 competition.

Texas A&M dropped in all three major polls after going 2-2 last week and are ranked highest in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 at No. 16. A&M fell from No. 16 to No. 18 in the Baseball America Top 25 and from No. 14 to No. 22 in Collegiate Baseball's Top 30.

SFA took two of three games from Southland Conference leader Texas-San Antonio to improve to 23-19 overall and 10-8 in the SLC. The program is in its second year after being disbanded in 1995 and brought back for the 2006 season.

The Aggies hold the all-time advantage against the 'Jacks 13-0-0, but the two teams have not met on the diamond since 1995.

A&M will start freshman right-hander Clayton Ehlert, who removed his redshirt two weeks ago. Ehlert has appeared in three games and has an ERA of 2.57 in seven innings of work. He threw a season-high five innings and allowed one earned run in Saturday's loss to Oklahoma State.

The Lumberjacks will counter with junior righty David Miller. Miller will be making his second start and 12 appearance of the season and he has an Era of 6.59 in 13 2/3 innings.

Tickets can be purchased at a two-for-one discount by calling (979) 845-2311 or (888) 99-AGGIE. Fans can also buy tickets at the special promotional rate beginning 90 minutes prior to first pitch at the Olsen Field Ticket Office.

Fans unable to attend the game can listen to the action live on AM-1620 WTAW. Airtime is 6:45 p.m.

In addition, live statistical updates and a live video stream of the game can be seen by going to www.AggieAthletics.com.

A&M returns to Big 12 Conference action this weekend with a three-game series against Baylor. Friday game will be at Baylor Ballpark in Waco, before the series shifts to Olsen Field for games two and three on Saturday and Sunday.
