The No. 11 Texas A&M baseball team will host Dallas Baptist in a three-game series at Olsen Field beginning Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The two teams will then meet Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.

The Aggies enter the weekend with an overall record of 35-11 and are 11-9 in Big 12 play. Last weekend, A&M won the first two games of a three-game series against Baylor, before dropping the series finale.

After losing to Texas Tech Tuesday night, the Patriots enter the weekend with a record of 25-20. DBU is not affiliated with a conference but is a member of Division I in baseball as an independent.

The Aggie and Patriots split a pair of games last year at Olsen Field. In the opener, five of Dallas Baptist's runs were unearned in a 6-1 A&M loss. The Aggies needed 12 innings to salvage the final game, 4-3. A&M holds the all-time advantage in the series, 14-4.

RADIO

All Texas A&M baseball games will be broadcast live on WTAW AM-1620. Dave South, The Voice of the Aggies, will call the action and will be assisted throughout the season by Tom Turbiville, Chuck Glenewinkel, Scott Clendenin, and Gabe Bock. The pre-game show will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of each game.
