Former Texas A&M soccer players Carrie Berend (Highland Village, Texas), Suzette Devloo (Houston, Texas), Emily DeWoody (Murphy, Texas), Laura Probst (Arvada, Colo.), Kati Jo Spisak (Manchester, Mo.) and Annie Burnett (San Antonio, Texas) were among the 5,417 students who received graduate and undergraduate degrees during spring commencement ceremonies last weekend.
"I am very proud of these ladies," A&M head coach G Guerrieri said. "They have always represented their family and this university with distinction as outstanding soccer players. Now they leave Aggieland with much more than the championship rings that they've won. They enter the next chapter in their lives knowing that they've had a wonderful education and college experience. As Aggies they are prepared for success in anything they choose to pursue."
These six graduates were members of the two most decorated classes in program history. Each garnered three Big 12 regular season crowns, two Big 12 tournament titles and led A&M to its second (2002) and third (2006) NCAA Elite Eight appearances.
