Texas A&M golfers Bronson Burgoon, Bobby Gates and Austin Schauer have been named to the PING All-South Central Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The trio helped A&M to 10 top-five performances this season, including a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championship. The Aggies were ranked among the nation's top 15 teams all season.

The all-region teams consist of the top 15 individuals in their region in the Individual Ranking System and in the top 75 nationally in the Golfstat or Sagarin ratings. Members of the all-region teams are eligible for PING All-America honors, which will be announced after the NCAA Championships.

Burgoon and Gates also made the all-region team last year.

Burgoon, a sophomore from The Woodlands, led the team with a 72.13 scoring average, the second-best in school history. He was named to the All-Big 12 team after posting nine top-20 finishes.

Gates, a junior from Gainesville, Fla., also earned All-Big 12 honors after posting a 73.11 scoring average and seven top-20 finishes.

Schauer, a freshman from Spring, won the prestigious Morris Williams Intercollegiate in March and has a 73.91 scoring average.

Other members of the All-South Central Region team are Olver Bekker (Lamar), Matthew Carvell (Southeastern Louisiana), Oscar Floren (Texas Tech), Justin Harding (Lamar), Jordan Irwin (Hosuton), Colt Knost (SMU), Andrew Landry (Arkansas), Lance Lopez (Texas), Dusty Smith (Lamar), Dawie VanDerWalt (Lamar) and Jhonattan Vegas (Texas).
