Texas A&M pitcher Scott Migl was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team on Wednesday, chosen by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Migl, who was selected as a relief pitcher on the squad, is 7-3 with an ERA of 3.77 in 74.0 innings of work. Most recently, he tied a career-high with seven innings of work against UL-Lafayette in the first championship game of the NCAA College Station Regional.
The team is headed by Collegiate Baseball?â„¢s Freshman Pitcher of The Year Ryan Berry of Rice and Freshman Player of The Year 1B Dustin Ackley of North Carolina.
