Incoming Texas A&M freshman DeAndre Jordan scored 14 points with 14 rebounds to lead Team USA to a 117-79 victory against Puerto Rico on Friday at the Global Games.
In the Group B division, the Global Games AA team, which features A&M freshmen-to-be B.J. Holmes and Nathan Walkup, beat CJT, 110-82, before falling to Argentina, 94-89.
Walkup scored 16 points with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks against CJT and made 4-of-5 three-pointers. Holmes scored 5 points with 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
Holmes tallied 17 points in the loss to Argentina while Walkup contributed 6 points and 6 rebounds.
