Athletes In Action rolled to a 108-83 victory against Japan on Sunday at the 2007 William R. Jones Cup.
AIA improved to 5-2 while Japan dropped to 1-6 and was eliminated from medal contention.
The Americans remain in contention to repeat as Jones Cup champions, trailing Jordan by one game with two left to play. AIA will face Taiwan on Monday before concluding the tournament against Iran on Tuesday.
Lee University's Brad Harris came off the bench to score a game-high 25 points, making 6-of-7 3-pointers. Texas A&M's Donald Sloan scored three points.
