Texas A&M's Josh Carter scored a team-high 17 points on
Thursday as Athletes in Action fell to the Perth Wildcats 134-96 at Lakeside Recreation Center.
The four-time NBL champion Wildcats had a one-point lead after the first
period, but Carter's three-pointer handed AIA a 35-33 lead to start the
second quarter. The Wildcats responded with a 10-0 run and never trailed
again.
Notre Dame's Luke Zeller also scored 17 points for AIA while Oregon's Ray Schafer added 16.
AIA will again face Perth on Friday night at the Ray Owens Arena in Western Australia.
