Sarah Ammerman had a match-high 18 kills and Jillian Phillips hit .714 with a career-high 11 kills to lead Texas A&M to a 30-28, 30-18, 30-20 victory over Washington State this morning at the Holiday Inn Classic at Montana State?â„¢s Shroyer Gymnasium.
A&M improves to 5-0 while the Cougars suffer their first lost of the season and fall to 6-1.
The Aggies conclude the tournament tonight, taking on the host Montana State Bobcats at 7 p.m. (MDT).
