Join Texas A&M women?â„¢s basketball head coach Gary Blair and the defending Big 12 Conference champions for the first of seven luncheons during the 2007-08 season on Thursday, Nov. 1 at Reed Arena.
Coach Blair will be joined by freshmen Sydney Colson and Maryann Baker along with featured guest speakers from the six-time national champion Texas A&M equestrian team. Last season, equestrian head coach Tana Rawson led the Aggies to an 11-2 overall record and a second-place overall finish at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships. A&M?â„¢s western team also won its second national team title in three years.
Additional women?â„¢s basketball luncheons are scheduled for Nov. 27, Dec. 13, Jan. 8, Jan. 31, Feb. 19 and March 4. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, player interviews and commentary by Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
