Texas A&M senior Elisabeth Jones was named to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America women's soccer second team, the association release Tuesday.

Jones, a history major from Lexington, Ky. has maintained a 3.98 GPA while helping the Aggies to their fourth consecutive Big 12 regular season title. During her senior campaign Jones appeared in all 24 of the Aggies?â„¢ games, making 13 starts and registering her first career hat-trick. Jones closed out the season with six goals and three assists. She also earned all-tournament honors for her play during the 2007 Big 12 Soccer Championship in San Antonio.
